Faux leather
Cover and box are characterized by the softness of the faux leather used and by the particularity of the textures: veined, available in five colors and denim weave, available in six colors. Cover, IKON box and Parents Album are personalizable with debossing or UV printing.

Cover Styles
IKON covers give the photo book a strong identity that conveys exclusivity and uniqueness.
You can choose to make your IKON cover in two ways:
Cover One Piece
The cover is covered in faux leather in one seamless piece.
You will be able to choose the color and texture (veined or denim weave) you prefer among the 11 proposals.
Cover in Three Pieces
Front and back covers are covered with the same faux leather (veined or denim).
For the back cover you can create a nice contrast by choosing a different faux leather as texture and/or color, among the 11 proposals.
Personalization with Debossing
Debossing is a manufacturing process that leads to engraving the faux leather surface of IKON and to create a slight lowering in correspondence with the writing created with the font Work Sans (capital letters, maximum 30 characters). The personalization with debossing applied on the photobook cover, on the IKON box and on the Parents Albums can be done in two different ways:
Natural Debossing
achieved by a simple hot engraving that offers a ton sur ton effect of the affected part.
Debossing + Gold Metal Foil
It allows to embellish the inside of the engraved surface with the gold color, shiny effect.
Personalization with UV printing
The personalization with UV printing gives greater impact and elegance to logos and writings, giving the graphic elements a perceptible thickness even to the touch. You can combine the personalization of photobook, IKON box and Parents Album by choosing from three different types of UV personalization:
Midtone (ton sur ton effect)
White ink
Black ink

For IKON’s inside pages, you can choose from two different types of printing:

Digital printing
Extremely environmentally friendly, digital printing guarantees typographic quality and exceptional color
stability over time.
IKON can be digitally printed (off-set) on these three types of FSC certified paper:
- Fedrigoni FSC matte
- Fedrigoni FSC + glossy foil
- Fedrigoni FSC + extra matte foil
Photographic printing
The traditional printing method ensures a superior quality result compared to digital printing and greater fidelity of tone and brightness of the images.
Photographic IKON can be printed on these papers:

Fine-Art [Full HD] photo printing
Inkjet Fine-Art photo printing represents the state of the art in the photographic world and guarantees uncompromising Full HD quality. In order to obtain Fine-Art printing we use Epson plotters with Epson UltraChrome® HDX 8-color ink set, with resolution up to 2,880×1,440 dpi.
IKON Fine-Art can be printed on paper:
- Fine-Art Photographic Extra matte [Full HD]
Types of paper
The IKON photo book is layflat, with a 180° panoramic opening and thick cardboard pages.
The choice of paper depends exquisitely on the emotions you wish to convey with your photographs.
Papers for digital printing quality
Fedrigoni FSC matte
Matt, white, glacier, slightly pearly, specially designed for dry toner printers. The special structure of the paper guarantees brilliance and realism.
Fedrigoni FSC + glossy foil
After printing, the paper is coated with a polypropylene film that makes it glossy with a mirror effect. Thanks to the lamination, the print acquires
important scratch and dirt resistance properties.
Fedrigoni FSC + extra matte foil
After printing, the paper is coated with a polypropylene film that makes it matt with a slightly velvety effect to the touch. Thanks to the lamination,
the print acquires important properties of resistance to scratches, dirt and even liquids.
Papers for digital printing quality
Matte photographic
White, glacier, slightly satin. The microporous surface provides exceptional color results.
Silk photographic
Surface with dotted weave (silk effect), brilliant light points, intense color spectrum, homogeneous shade nuance, natural-looking images.
Metal photographic
Glossy, highly reflective paper with silver iridescence. High color density, sharpness and very deep blacks.
Velvet photographic
Extra-matt surface with total absence of reflection, extremely pleasant and velvety to the touch. High added value.
Fine-Art [Full HD]
Ideal for art photography and art edition. It meets the conservation requirements of museums and art galleries. Perfect black and white.
IKON Bag
IKON bag is a soft mélange cotton bag that wraps your photo book in a tender embrace. IKON Bag is always included in the standard price. It is not provided only in case you purchase IKON box.
In combination with the IKON bag there is an organic cotton ribbon available in six contrasting colors: Black, Dark grey, Cream, Rope, Brown, White.
IKON Box
Designed to protect and preserve the photobook over time and add that extra touch of originality, IKON box has a front that matches the cover of the main photo book and an extremely resistant wooden base, available in three different finishes:

Parents Album
Designed for parents, witnesses and friends, the IKON Parents Album is available in two different versions. There is no need to create your layout again: the reduction is done automatically keeping the proportions and the same layout as the main photobook.
