Create a PDF and order
Create a PDF from Foto® OS X for Mac
Important Note: make sure you have NOT used the DOUBLE PAGE styles (with a photo over 2 pages)
- Open your photo book in the Projects section at the top of Foto.
- Click while holding down the Control key or right-click inside the grey area around the photo book project.
- Select “Save photo book as PDF” from the shortcut menu that appears.
- In the Save As dialogue box name the file and select a location to save it, then click on Save.
- Locate the saved PDF file and double click on it. The file will open in Preview. Make sure that the look is the one you want.
- After checking the PDF of the project, send it with a browser other than Safari.
WARNING
- Do not use “DOUBLE PAGE” styles. Double pages will be ignored during printing.
- Do not use Safari. The interface for sending PDF files is not compatible with the Safari web browser. To upload the files use another browser (such as Google Chrome).
- Not compatible with square albums.
Creating a PDF from iPhoto for Mac
- Open your photo book.
- Click while holding down the Control key or right-click inside the grey area around the photo book project.
- Select “Save as PDF” from the shortcut menu that appears.
- In the Save As dialogue box name the file and select a location to save it, then click on Save.
- Locate the saved PDF file and double click on it. The file will open in Preview. Make sure that this is the look you want.
